This site is registered, created, and composed entirely by Himalayas-based Pakistani thinker Ramala Hubb’Allah, and is not affiliated with, nor authorized, nor commissioned by any entity political, business, state or otherwise. Her friends and family and neighbors and stray animal friends have no say in it; but her love for the world moves her to write and to address the person–Donald J. Trump–she is assuming will be the incoming American President in 2025.
The site is always developing bit-by-bit; it gets edited like Wikipedia. What you see here one time may grow or be trimmed down over time. Normally left-leaning and once a big fan of President Barack Hussain Obama, whose election inspired her to start a food-growing movement (via Facebook) in her country (Pakistan) just hours after he made the acceptance speech, in recent years, post-pandemic, the ecological work of Ramala Hubb’Allah has indicated to her that humanity has entered what is called a Post-Growth period. This means that Growth on a finite planet is not linear or infinite; rather it has limitations, and its arc starts bending over time. Also, instead of growing in the material realm, humans need to make good of what we have made and obtained already in large part, and also, to focus on both our mental/physical/emotional health and on our environments and families.
Ramala observed a rise in right-leaning politicians and thoughts in recent years; while it alarmed her at first, she leaned in and began appreciating that right-leaning politicians and thinkers are people who are more or less concerned with creating safe containers for their society, focus on values and on national integrity and safety. Perhaps as an outcome of having hit the 40’s herself, she now sees reason in this. She also says that her ecological work indicates that this is a time for rest, reflection, and even repentance for Planet and people, and that this is what will pave the way for a planet-wide regeneration, which is necessary in this era of the great turning of humanity.
